I am a Visual/UX Designer II with a degree in Graphics and Web Design. Having a background in business management and communication helps me a lot as a designer.

 

As a Visual/UX Designer, a big part of my work is learning how to listen and pay attention to the community's needs. As I work through a project, with every action I am constantly mindful of how I can improve my understanding and awareness of the people I am inviting or representing. Every day I ask myself the same question: how can I show up to support the community? and how can I avoid making assumptions as a designer?

 

I'm still learning on the way but I know that I want to build a meaningful space and create better ways to support, represent and uplift my community as I move towards a more equitable future.
